Range Master is a company that has found its place in the kitchen appliances business.
They are producing everything from cookers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other built-in appliances so they know a thing or two about cooking and smoking.
They are mostly focused on dishwashers, cookers, and refrigerators which means that electric smokers aren’t products of interest for them.
But, that doesn’t mean they don’t have one in their offering.
The thing with this Range Master electric smoker is that you can’t find it on their official websites which means that they aren’t interested in spreading their brand in the smoking business.
But, that doesn’t mean people aren’t interested in that model and that is why I have made a review about the Range Master electric smoker like it is the most popular electric smoker in the world.
Range Master Electric Smoker Review!
This Range Master smoker is a good family smoker because it has 548 square inches of cooking space spread on 3 cooking grids in the smoker.
That capacity is more than enough to feed your entire family and few friends on the side, which makes it a good residential smoker.
The 1500-watt heating element can produce a temperature in the range of 100°F-400°F which means you can smoke any type of food in the smoker which is especially interesting for people who love to experiment with the entire smoking process.
You can easily control the temperature in the smoker because it has a built-in temperature gauge on the doors.
That means you can see the temperature in any second, but you can’t see what is happening in the smoker because the doors don’t have windows.
I already start talking about the design, so I will continue in that direction.
I like that the entire smoker has legs. It is elevated so you can easily use it without squatting or sitting on the floor.
I would like it if the smoker had wheels but you can’t have everything. That doesn’t mean you can’t move it around, you can, but you have to use handles on the smoker.
Handles look like they are made from the same material as the entire smoker so I would recommend that you carry it around when the smoker is cold, you can never be sure enough and I don’t want you to burn your hands.
The only way to see inside is to open the doors and I wouldn’t recommend that because you will lose all the heat and the temperature produced during the smoking process.
That means you have to turn on the smoker, control the temperature on the built-in temperature gauge, and wait for the smoker to do what it has to – smoke food.
There is a top air vent on the Range Master smoker if you want to control the temperature.
That means you can lower the temperature by opening the vent or closing it (if you want more smoke and more heat).
That is a useful feature for any smoker especially if you want to be flexible with the temperature and the smoke.
Another good thing about this smoker is that it has a removable water pan so you can easily clean it when the smoking is done and that is a perk for every residential electric smoker.
This Range Master electric smoker has an analog temperature gauge and it looks exactly like one Masterbuilt model.
That analog Masterbuilt model is actually identical to this one which got me (and other people) thinking that this smoker might be a rebadged Masterbuilt.
I feel the obligation to mention to you that because Masterbuilt is a good, well-known smoking brand which has a lot of smokers on the market.
Since we are all thinking that this is a rebadged Masterbuilt we can’t say that for sure.
Due to that, I would recommend you to take a look at the Masterbuilt analog electric smoker because if they are the same, you will get the smoker you want, but you will be sure that you have customer support, spare parts, and accessories, etc.
Choosing the Masterbuilt smoker is on the safe side and since they look exactly the same, I believe it is a better choice.
- Top air vent
- Removable water pan
- 1500-watt heating element
- Looks like the Masterbuilt model
- No spare parts no accessories
Spare Parts & Accessories for Range Master electric smoker
The Range Master electric smoker doesn’t have spare parts or accessories because the brand is not interested in spreading its influence in the food smoking business.
If you have already bought the Range Master smoker you can find spare parts and accessories, but not made by the Range Master.
I already mentioned that the Range Master electric smoker looks like the Masterbuilt model which means you can use spare parts and accessories made by Masterbuilt, but you have to be sure that you know which smoker it is.
Masterbuilt is a good smoking brand that has everything you need and since you will use their spare parts, I would recommend that you use their smoker.
They look exactly the same and I trust Masterbuilt more than Range Master when it comes to the electric smoker and the entire smoking process.
